Job summary

We are looking for an ambitious, motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Registered Manager for our service in Reading.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who may already be working as a Deputy Manager, Care Manager, Field Care Supervisor or in a similar leadership role and is now ready to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and day-to-day management of the service, helping to ensure safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered at all times. You will work closely with senior leadership and receive support as you develop within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the overall management and development of the service

  • Promote high standards of person-centred care and positive outcomes for service users

  • Lead, supervise and support care and office staff

  • Help ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies

  • Support with audits, quality monitoring, reviews and service improvement

  • Assist with safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints and investigations

  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments and safe delivery of care

  • Build positive working relationships with families, professionals and local stakeholders

  • Contribute to staff development, performance management and recruitment

  • Help drive occupancy, growth and the overall success of the service

Requirements:

  • Experience in health and social care, ideally within domiciliary care, supported living or a similar setting

  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role such as Deputy Manager, Care Manager, Team Leader or Field Care Supervisor

  • Good understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding

  • Willingness to develop knowledge of CQC regulations and leadership responsibilities

  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills

  • A positive attitude and genuine desire to progress into a service leadership role

  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care essential, Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it

  • Full right to work in the UK

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
