Job summary

Main duties and responsibilities:

Working with adults, elderly, young adults and children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.

Providing personal care and support to service users with their daily activities.

Producing daily logs of all completed activities with service users

Assisting service users with appointments and social events

Skills / Qualifications:

• Successful applicant should have qualifications level 2 and 3 in Care or willingness to complete.
• Have knowledge of safeguarding
• confidentiality and laws within care
• Have substantial experience of working with services users with challenging behaviour and learning difficulties
• Capable of managing challenging behaviour
• Capable of working well on your own initiative
• but not afraid to ask questions
• A positive attitude and able to work effectively in a team
• Good communication skills
• A driver's licence is desirable but not essential
